Lower Camp is designed for campers ages 5-8. Although more formally structured than Upper Camp, lower campers still have the freedom to choose from a wide selection of activities and expeditions.
A Typical Lower Camp Schedule:
9:00 Community Circle
9:30 Dynamics or swim–outside games or swimming
10:45 Snack–both Upper and Lower Camps come together for snack and announcements
11:00 Activity–Campers participate in a week long activity, chosen by the camper at the beginning of the week.
11:45 Expedition–Week long themed activities offered by the lower camp counselors
12:25 Pick-up for half-day campers
12:30 Lunch
1:00 Creative Explorations–Campers participate in art, drama, dance and music projects, as well as prepare for Lower Camp’s annual act in the camp talent show.
1:45 Optional–Lower Camp pmce again joins Upper Camp to choose an activity that changes everyday.
2:45 Checkout–The whole camp comes together in the Grove for end of the day announcements
